Use the form above to check your Field and Reel order. Enter your order number and the email address you used at checkout, and you will see the current status of your order and the items in it. Below the form, this page explains where to find your order number, what each status means, how printing and shipping fit together, and what to do if your parcel seems to have stopped moving. If you have a question the page does not answer, email [email protected] and we will reply within 1 business day.

Tracking at a glance

  • What you need: your order number and checkout email address.
  • Printing: 2–5 business days before the parcel leaves us.
  • Tracking link: emailed when the parcel ships; the first scan can take 24 to 48 hours.
  • Transit: 3–7 business days in the US, 6–12 business days to Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Stuck parcel: contact us after 7 business days without a tracking update.

1. Finding your order number

Your order number is in the subject line and the first lines of your order confirmation email, which is sent as soon as your payment is approved. It is a number, usually shown with a # in front of it. When you use the form above, enter just the number, without the # sign. If you created an account, you can also see every order on the My Account page after logging in.

If you cannot find the confirmation email, search your inbox for “Field and Reel” and check your spam, junk and promotions folders. Some email services file order emails under a separate tab. If it is not there, contact us with the name, email address and delivery address you used, and the approximate date of your order, and we will look it up.

2. How printing and shipping fit together

Because every item is printed to order, your order has two stages. First, it is printed, checked and packed, which normally takes 2–5 business days. During this time the order shows as Processing, and there is no tracking number yet, because the parcel does not exist yet. Second, the parcel is handed to the carrier. At that point we email you a shipping confirmation with a tracking number and link, and the order status changes to Completed in our system. From then on, the carrier’s tracking page is the best place to follow the parcel.

That means a few quiet days after ordering are completely normal. A shirt being printed for you is not late just because tracking has not appeared yet. If the printing window has passed by more than two business days and you have not received a shipping email, contact us and we will check.

3. What each status means

Order and parcel statuses and what to do
Status What it means What you should do
Pending payment The order was started but payment has not been confirmed. Complete payment at checkout, or contact us if you were charged.
On hold We need to check something, such as a payment verification or an address. Watch your email; we will contact you if we need anything.
Processing Payment received; your items are being printed and packed. Nothing. Changes are possible only within 12 hours of ordering.
Completed / Shipped The parcel has left the print facility; tracking has been emailed. Follow the tracking link. Allow 24 to 48 hours for the first scan.
In transit The carrier is moving the parcel through its network. Nothing. International parcels may pause between carriers.
Out for delivery The parcel is on a local delivery vehicle. Make sure someone can receive it or that it can be left safely.
Delivered The carrier reports the parcel as delivered. If you cannot find it, see section 6.
Delivery exception The carrier could not deliver, for example because of an address problem or no access. Follow the carrier’s instructions and tell us if the address needs correcting.
Returned to sender The parcel is coming back to us. Contact us to confirm your address so we can reship it.
Cancelled The order was cancelled by you or by us. Your refund is received within 7 calendar days of the cancellation confirmation.

4. Typical timeline from order to doorstep

Example timeline for an order placed on a Monday morning (business days)
Day United States Canada, Australia, New Zealand
Day 0 Order confirmed; changes possible for 12 hours Order confirmed; changes possible for 12 hours
Days 1–5 Printing, checking and packing Printing, checking and packing
Shipping day Tracking email sent Tracking email sent
After shipping 3–7 business days in transit 6–12 business days in transit, including customs
Total Usually 5–12 business days Usually 8–17 business days

Weekends and public holidays are not business days, so an order placed on a Friday afternoon effectively starts its printing clock on Monday. During peak weeks before Father’s Day and the December holidays, printing can take up to two extra business days, and carriers are slower too. If you are ordering for a tournament, a hunting trip or a birthday, plan with the upper end of these ranges.

5. Customs holds on international parcels

Parcels to Canada, Australia and New Zealand pass through customs in the destination country. Most clear within a day or two, but some are held for inspection or for payment of duties and taxes. When that happens, tracking may show statuses such as “Held by customs”, “Awaiting payment” or “Clearance in progress”. If the carrier or postal service asks you to pay charges, follow the instructions on its official website or the card left at your address, and be cautious of text messages asking for payment through unfamiliar links; check the tracking number on the carrier’s own site first. If a parcel stays in customs for more than 7 business days, contact us and we will help you find out why.

6. Keeping an eye on several orders

If you placed separate orders, for example one for your own shirts and another for a gift, each has its own order number, confirmation and tracking emails. Use the form above once for each order. Logging in to My Account shows all orders placed with that account in one list, which is handy for crew captains who order for several people over a season.

7. Reading carrier tracking

Carrier tracking pages use their own wording, which does not always match ours. “Label created” or “Shipping information received” means the parcel has a label but has not yet been scanned by the carrier; this stage can last a day or two. “Accepted” or “Picked up” is the first real scan. Orders to Canada, Australia and New Zealand often travel with a US carrier first and then with your local postal service, and the tracking number may change or a second number may appear. If tracking seems frozen after the parcel leaves the United States, try entering the same number on your local postal service’s website.

8. Late or lost parcels

Delivery estimates are 3–7 business days in transit within the United States and 6–12 business days to Canada, Australia and New Zealand, after printing. If tracking has not updated for 7 business days, or your parcel has not arrived 7 business days after the latest estimate, contact us with your order number. We open an investigation with the carrier. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, or the investigation is not resolved within 5 business days, we send a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer. Refunds are received within 7 calendar days of approval; see our Refund Policy.

9. Tracking says delivered, but the parcel is not there

First, check around your property, including porches, garages, mailboxes and side doors, and ask neighbours, building reception or the mailroom. Carriers sometimes mark a parcel as delivered shortly before it actually arrives, so wait until the end of the next business day. Then check with your local post office or carrier depot. If the parcel still has not appeared, contact us within 60 days of the delivery date with your order number, and we will work with the carrier to resolve it.

10. Address problems

If tracking shows a delivery exception because of the address, or if you realise you entered the wrong address, tell us as soon as possible. Before the parcel ships, we can correct the address for free. After it ships, we can ask the carrier to redirect it, but carriers do not always accept redirects. If a parcel is returned to us, we reship it once you confirm the correct address. Our Shipping & Delivery page explains how reshipping costs are handled.

11. Orders with more than one parcel

Most orders ship in one parcel, but items printed on different equipment, such as a hoodie and a mug, may ship separately. Each parcel gets its own tracking number, sent by email. If one parcel arrives and the other has not, check your emails for the second tracking number before contacting us. You never pay extra for split shipments.

12. Tracking a gift

If you sent a gift directly to someone else, tracking emails go to the email address entered at checkout, which is usually yours. That keeps the surprise intact, but it also means the recipient will not get delivery notifications. If the parcel needs a signature or a pickup from a depot, the carrier normally leaves a card at the address. Let the recipient know a parcel is on its way if timing matters.

13. When we contact you first

Sometimes we spot a problem before you do: a carrier delay affecting a region, an address the carrier cannot validate, or a printing hold-up during a busy season. In those cases we email you with what we know and what we are doing. Please make sure our emails from [email protected] are not filtered out.

14. Common tracking questions

  • The form says it cannot find my order. Check that you entered the number without the # sign and the exact email used at checkout, with no extra spaces. Orders placed with a different email, such as a work address, will only be found with that address.
  • My tracking link shows another country. Parcels to Canada, Australia and New Zealand pass through international sorting centres, so a scan in another city or country along the route is normal.
  • Tracking shows a delivery attempt but nobody came. Contact the carrier first with the tracking number to arrange redelivery or pickup, then tell us if it cannot be resolved.

15. Need help?

Email [email protected] or submit a ticket with your order number and, for delivery questions, the tracking number and what it currently shows. We reply within 1 business day. You can also visit the Help Center or read the FAQs.
