They apply when you browse fieldandreel.com, create an account, place an order, send us personalization text or contact our support team. We have tried to write them in plain English, with examples from the kind of orders we actually receive: fishing tees, hunting hoodies, personalized crew shirts and mugs for early risers. Please read them before you order. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies they refer to, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery policy, Returns & Exchanges Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@fieldandreel.com; we reply within 1 business day.
\n
\n
Key points
\n
\n
Every item is printed to order after you check out, which is why changes are only possible within 12 hours and before printing starts.
\n
Prices are in US dollars. Shipping is free to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and we do not ship elsewhere.
\n
You can return or exchange any item within 60 days of delivery, and approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7 calendar days.
\n
Personalization text is printed exactly as you enter it. You are responsible for the text and for having the right to use it.
\n
Our designs, logo and site content belong to us; buying a shirt does not give you the right to copy the design.
\n
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.
\n
\n
\n
1. Who can use the site
\n
You may use the site if you can form a binding contract where you live, which in most places means you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your state, province or country. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must place the order and accept these Terms on your behalf. You agree to give us accurate information, including your name, email address and delivery address, and to keep that information up to date in your account if you have one.
\n
The site is intended for customers in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, which are the countries we ship to. You may browse from elsewhere, but checkout will not offer shipping to other countries and we cannot accept orders for delivery outside those four countries. We may refuse service, cancel an order or close an account when we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or a breach of these Terms; when we do, we refund any amount paid for orders we do not fulfil.
\n
2. Your account
\n
You can check out as a guest or create an account. An account lets you see past orders, save addresses and track your parcels. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity under your account. Use a password you do not use anywhere else. If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password and tell us straight away so we can check recent orders. We will never ask for your password by email, phone or message. You can ask us to close your account at any time; order records we must keep for tax and legal reasons are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
\n
3. How our made-to-order products work
\n
Field and Reel does not keep a warehouse of finished shirts. When you place an order, the design you chose is printed onto the garment or item you selected, in the size and colour you picked, and then packed and shipped. Printing normally takes 2–5 business days, after which the carrier’s transit time applies. This model lets us offer many designs, colours and sizes, but it also means that each item becomes yours the moment it is printed. That is the reason behind several rules in these Terms, including the short window for changes and cancellations in section 9 and the care we ask you to take with personalization text in section 7.
\n
Because items are printed individually, small variations are normal. A print may sit a few millimetres higher or lower than in a product photo, the colour of the garment can vary slightly between production batches, and the exact shade of a printed colour can look a little different on fabric than on a backlit screen. These normal variations are not defects. A print that is clearly crooked, smudged, cracked, incomplete or in the wrong place is a defect, and we fix it as described in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
\n
4. Product information, photos and sizes
\n
We try hard to describe every product accurately: the garment style, available colours and sizes, materials where we know them, and care instructions. Product images are mock-ups or photographs intended to show the design and how it is placed; they are not a promise that your item will look identical in every detail, for the reasons explained in section 3. If something matters to you, such as how dark a colour is, ask us before you order.
\n
Sizes vary between garment styles, so we publish guidance in our Size Guide. A size guide is a tool to help you choose, not a guarantee of fit for your body shape or preferences. If the size you choose does not work out, our 60-day exchange process is there to help. We do not claim that our garments provide sun protection, insulation, waterproofing, high visibility or any safety function unless the product page expressly says so. Hunting-themed apparel is casual wear and is not a substitute for blaze orange or other safety garments required by hunting regulations.
\n
5. Prices and availability
\n
All prices are shown in US dollars and include the item price only; sales tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout. Shipping to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand is free. For deliveries to Canada, Australia and New Zealand, import duties and taxes may be collected by the destination country when the parcel arrives; these are not included in our prices, as explained on the Shipping & Delivery page.
\n
We may change prices, designs, colours and available sizes at any time, but changes do not affect orders that we have already confirmed. Occasionally a price or description is shown incorrectly because of a technical or human error. If we discover an obvious error after you order, for example a hoodie listed at $3.99, we will contact you before printing and give you the choice to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. A garment colour or size may also become unavailable from our print partner after you order; we will tell you and offer an alternative or a full refund.
\n
6. Orders and acceptance
\n
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the items in your cart at the listed prices. You will receive an order confirmation email that lists the items, sizes, colours, personalization text and delivery address. That email confirms we received your order; the contract is formed when we accept the order, which happens when it enters the print queue or when we send the shipping confirmation, whichever comes first. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance, for example if a payment cannot be verified, if the order appears fraudulent, if the delivery address is outside the countries we ship to, or if personalization text breaks section 7. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we refund the full amount, received within 7 calendar days.
\n
Please check your order confirmation as soon as it arrives. If anything is wrong, such as a size, a colour, the text to print or your address, contact us immediately so we can fix it within the change window described in section 9.
\n
7. Personalized products and the text you provide
\n
Some designs let you add a name, crew name, boat name, date, number or short phrase. When you enter personalization text you confirm that:
\n
\n
the text is exactly what you want printed, including spelling, spacing, capital letters, punctuation and numbers;
\n
you have the right to use it, and it does not include someone else’s trademark, team or club logo name used without permission, or copyrighted lyrics or slogans;
\n
it does not contain hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene or unlawful content, or another person’s private information such as a phone number or home address;
\n
it does not impersonate a real organisation, agency or official body.
\n
\n
We print the text as entered and do not proofread it. We may refuse to print text that breaks these rules, in which case we contact you to change it or cancel and refund the item. You are responsible for any claim that arises from text you ask us to print. Errors in printing that differ from what you entered are our responsibility and are corrected free of charge; typos in the text you entered are handled as described in the Refund Policy.
\n
8. Payment
\n
Payment is taken at checkout through the payment options displayed there. Payment options are provided by third-party payment providers, which process your payment under their own terms and privacy policies; we do not receive or store your full card number. By paying, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method. If a payment is declined, reversed or later found to be unauthorised, we may cancel the order or suspend fulfilment until the issue is resolved. More detail, including when you are charged and how declines are handled, is on our Payment Methods page.
\n
9. Changes and cancellations by you
\n
You can change or cancel an order within 12 hours of placing it, as long as printing has not started. After printing starts, an item cannot be cancelled, but you can still use the 60-day returns process once it is delivered. Address changes are possible until the parcel is handed to the carrier. Full details, including how group and personalized orders are handled, are on our Cancel or Change an Order page. When we confirm a cancellation, the refund reaches your original payment method within 7 calendar days of our confirmation.
\n
10. Shipping, delivery and risk
\n
We ship to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, free of charge, with a tracking link emailed when the parcel leaves the print facility. Delivery times are estimates given by carriers and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave us. Until then, if a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we replace it or refund you in full under our Shipping & Delivery policy. If a parcel is undeliverable because the address you entered was incomplete or incorrect, we will work with you to reship it, and we tell you about any reshipping cost before sending it again.
\n
11. Returns, exchanges and refunds
\n
You may return or exchange any item within 60 days of delivery, for any reason, under our Returns & Exchanges Policy. Damaged, defective, misprinted and wrong items are replaced or refunded at no cost to you, usually without the need to send them back. For change-of-mind returns and exchanges, you pay the cost of sending the item back to us and we pay to ship any exchange item to you. We never charge restocking fees. Approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7 calendar days, as set out in our Refund Policy. These policies form part of these Terms. Where a policy and these Terms differ on the details of a return or refund, the more specific policy applies.
\n
12. Discounts and promotions
\n
From time to time we may offer discount codes or promotions. Each one comes with its own conditions, such as an expiry date, a minimum spend or excluded items, which are shown with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be combined, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be applied to orders that have already been placed. We may withdraw a promotion that was published by mistake or is being misused, for example by creating multiple accounts. If a discounted item is returned, the refund equals the discounted amount you actually paid for it. We do not run fake countdowns or invented “limited stock” messages; if an offer has a real deadline, we state the date.
\n
13. Reviews, messages and other content you send
\n
If we invite reviews, photos or other content in the future, anything you submit must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of unlawful, offensive or misleading material. You keep ownership of what you submit, but you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the site in connection with the product it relates to, and to edit it only for length or to remove personal information. We do not pay for, invent or selectively edit reviews to make them more positive, and we may remove content that breaks these Terms. Support messages and photos you send about an order are used only to deal with that order, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
\n
14. Intellectual property
\n
The Field and Reel name, logo, artwork, designs, product photos, mock-ups, text and the layout of the site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Buying a printed item gives you ownership of that physical item; it does not give you a licence to copy, reproduce, resell as a design, or create merchandise from the artwork. You may share links to our pages and photos of items you bought for personal, non-commercial purposes. Our Intellectual Property Policy explains in more detail what is and is not allowed, and our DMCA page explains how to report content you believe infringes your rights.
\n
We respect the rights of others. Our designs are original to our store or licensed for our use, and we do not knowingly sell items that copy the logos of sports teams, government agencies, outdoor brands or other organisations. If you believe something we sell infringes your rights, please contact us as described on the DMCA page and we will review it promptly.
\n
15. Acceptable use of the site
\n
When you use fieldandreel.com, you agree not to:
\n
\n
break any law or encourage anyone else to do so;
\n
place orders with payment methods you are not authorised to use, or attempt to obtain refunds or replacements you are not entitled to;
\n
copy, scrape or harvest content, designs or data from the site in bulk, or use automated tools to place orders;
\n
try to gain unauthorised access to the site, other customers’ accounts, or our systems, or interfere with the site’s security or performance;
\n
upload or send viruses, malware or any harmful code;
\n
use personalization fields or support channels to send spam, threats, harassment or unlawful content;
\n
impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection with any person or organisation.
\n
\n
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account, cancel orders that have not been printed, and take any legal steps available to us. We will refund payments for orders we cancel, except where doing so would assist fraud or is not permitted by law.
\n
16. Product care and use
\n
Printed apparel lasts longest when it is washed inside out in cold water, dried on low heat or hung to dry, and never ironed directly on the print. Some drinkware is hand-wash only to protect the print; the product page and any care label tell you which. We are not responsible for wear and fading caused by care that does not follow these instructions, by heavy outdoor use such as fish slime, bleach, solvents or prolonged direct sunlight, or by normal ageing of the garment. This does not affect your right to report a genuine defect within 60 days of delivery.
\n
17. Disclaimers
\n
We work to keep the site accurate, available and secure, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free, that every description will be complete, or that the site is free from all harmful components. Our products are casual apparel and gifts; except for the commitments in these Terms and our policies, and any warranties that cannot be excluded by law, we do not give additional warranties about our products, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose such as outdoor protection. If you are a consumer, you keep the guarantees and rights that consumer law in your country, state or province gives you, which cannot be excluded by these Terms. For customers in Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For customers in New Zealand, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. For customers in Canada, provincial consumer protection laws continue to apply.
\n
18. Limitation of liability
\n
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field and Reel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as loss of enjoyment of a trip, missed events, or lost profits, arising from your use of the site or our products. Where we are liable for a problem with an order, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of non-excludable consumer guarantees. In practice, if something goes wrong with an order, our remedy is the one described in our policies: we reprint, replace or refund.
\n
19. Indemnity
\n
If you use the site or our products in breach of these Terms or the law, including by submitting personalization text that infringes someone else’s rights, you agree to cover reasonable losses, costs and legal fees that we incur as a direct result, to the extent permitted by law. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in its defence.
\n
20. Events outside our control
\n
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as severe weather, wildfires, floods, carrier disruptions, strikes, power or internet outages, supplier shortages, government action or public health emergencies. If such an event affects your order, we tell you as soon as we can, keep you updated, and offer a full refund if the delay becomes unreasonable or the order cannot be completed.
\n
21. Governing law and disputes
\n
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@fieldandreel.com. Most problems are solved within a few emails, and we will try to resolve yours fairly and quickly. If a dispute cannot be solved informally, these Terms are governed by the laws that apply where our business is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country, state or province where you live. You may bring a claim in the courts where you live if consumer law gives you that right. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from contacting a consumer protection authority or using an alternative dispute resolution service available to you.
\n
22. Communications
\n
By placing an order, you agree that we may send you emails about that order, including confirmations, shipping updates, and messages about returns, refunds or problems. These are part of the service and are not marketing. We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe from them at any time. Notices to you under these Terms may be sent to the email address associated with your order or account. Notices to us should be sent to support@fieldandreel.com or by post to Fieldandreel, 6910 Scholl Road, Franklin, OH 45005, United States.
\n
23. Third-party services and links
\n
The site relies on third parties such as payment providers, carriers, our print partner and our hosting provider. Links to carrier tracking pages or other websites are provided for convenience; those sites are operated by others under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of a payment provider’s service is also governed by that provider’s terms.
\n
24. Changes to these Terms
\n
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, our policies or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. If we make a significant change that affects you, we will post a notice on the site, and for account holders we may also send an email. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
\n
25. General terms
\n
These Terms, together with the policies they mention, are the entire agreement between you and us about using the site and buying from us. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to someone else without our consent; we may transfer ours to a business that takes over the store, provided your rights are not reduced. Headings are for convenience only. These Terms are written in English, and the English version applies if any translation differs.
\n
26. Gift orders
\n
Many of our orders are gifts: a fishing tee for a birthday, a hoodie for someone heading to deer camp, a mug for a Father’s Day breakfast. When you order a gift and enter someone else’s address, you remain the customer under these Terms. You are responsible for giving us an accurate delivery address and for having the recipient’s permission to share their name and address with us for delivery. Order and shipping emails go to the email address you provide at checkout, so tracking updates come to you rather than to the recipient. The recipient may use our 60-day returns and exchanges process after delivery; exchange items are shipped to the recipient, while any refund goes back to your original payment method, as described in our Refund Policy. If the gift needs to arrive by a particular date, please allow for printing and transit time as explained on the Shipping & Delivery page; delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.
\n
27. Group, club and tournament orders
\n
We welcome orders for fishing clubs, tournament teams, hunting camps, family reunions and similar groups. A group order is still an ordinary consumer order under these Terms, placed and paid for by one person, who is responsible for collecting accurate sizes, colours and personalization text from the group. We print each line as entered. If members of a group order separately, each order is printed separately; garment shades from different orders are matched as closely as the printing process allows but can differ slightly, as explained in section 3.
\n
If you are ordering on behalf of a club or organisation and want to use its name or logo, you confirm that you have permission to do so. We may ask for confirmation before printing a club or event name that appears to belong to an established organisation, and we may decline to print it if permission is unclear. We do not offer wholesale accounts, resale licences or trade pricing; items you buy from us are for your own use or to give as gifts, not for resale as merchandise.
\n
28. Orders from Canada, Australia and New Zealand
\n
Customers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand buy from us on the same terms as US customers, with the same free shipping, 60-day returns and 7-day refunds. A few points are different because the order crosses a border. Your parcel is shipped from the USA and may be subject to import duties, goods and services taxes and handling fees charged by your country; these are collected by the carrier or customs office and are payable by the recipient. Prices are in US dollars, and your bank converts the amount at its own exchange rate, which may include a foreign transaction fee. Transit is longer than for US addresses, and tracking can pause while a parcel moves between the US carrier and your local carrier. Your local consumer protection laws continue to apply to you, as stated in section 17.
\n
29. Fraud prevention and order verification
\n
To protect customers and the store, orders may be screened for signs of fraud by us and by our payment providers. Signs that can trigger a review include a billing and shipping address in different countries, several orders placed quickly with different cards, or an email address that bounces. If an order is selected for review, we may email you to confirm a few details before printing. We will never ask for your full card number, security code or password. If we cannot verify an order within a reasonable time, we cancel it and refund any payment in full, received within 7 calendar days. Attempting to obtain goods or refunds by deception, such as claiming non-delivery for a parcel that was delivered and collected, may lead us to close the account and report the matter to the payment provider or authorities.
\n
30. Site availability, updates and errors
\n
We may update, change or temporarily suspend the site, for example to install updates, fix problems or add features. We try to schedule maintenance at quiet times and keep interruptions short. The site may contain errors, such as a broken link or a typo in a description; if you spot one, please tell us and we will fix it. We are not responsible for problems caused by your own device, browser, internet connection or software, or by settings that block cookies required for the cart and checkout. Information on the site, including articles, size advice and care tips, is general guidance and should not be relied on as professional advice.
\n
31. Accessibility
\n
We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from Field and Reel. We aim to keep the site readable on phones, tablets and computers, to use clear text, sufficient colour contrast and descriptive link text, and to make the menus and checkout usable with a keyboard. If you have difficulty using any part of the site, email us and describe the problem. We will help you complete your order by email and work on fixing the issue. Asking for help in this way never costs you more than ordering online.
\n
32. Feedback and suggestions
\n
We like hearing what you think, whether it is a design idea for a species we do not cover yet, a fit comment about a hoodie, or a suggestion for our pages. If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree that we may use them to improve our products and services without paying you or crediting you, and without any obligation to use them. This does not apply to personalization text you submit for your own order, which we use only to print that order, and it does not give us any right to personal information included in your message beyond what our Privacy Policy allows.
\n
33. Privacy
\n
We collect and use personal information only to run the store, process and deliver your orders, provide support, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can access, correct or delete it. By using the site you acknowledge that your information is handled as described there.
\n
34. Contacting each other and resolving problems quickly
\n
The fastest way to solve almost any problem is a short email with your order number. Our standard reply time is 1 business day. When you write, include photos for anything damaged or misprinted, the exact text you expected for personalization issues, and the tracking number for delivery issues. In return, we commit to explaining our decisions in plain language, telling you what we need from you and by when, and putting things right promptly when we have made a mistake. If you are unhappy with our first answer, reply and ask for the case to be reviewed again; a second person will look at it with fresh eyes. You can also open a ticket through our Submit a Ticket page or browse answers in the Help Center.
\n
35. Sizing, fit and exchanges in practice
\n
Fit is the most common reason customers contact us, so it is worth explaining how these Terms apply to it. Each product page names the garment style, and our Size Guide explains how to measure a garment you already own and compare it with the style you are buying. Hoodies and sweatshirts are usually cut roomier than tees, women’s cuts are usually narrower and shorter than unisex cuts, and youth sizes are a separate range. If you choose a size that does not suit you, that is not a defect, but it is exactly what our 60-day exchange process is for: you send the item back at your cost, and we print and ship the new size free. To keep things simple, try a garment on before washing it and decide on the fit while it is still in the condition you received it.
\n
36. Our commitments to you
\n
These Terms contain rules for you, so it is fair to list what we commit to in return. We will describe products honestly and never invent reviews, ratings, stock counts or countdown timers. We will print your order as you entered it and fix our printing mistakes free of charge. We will ship free to the four countries we serve and step in when a parcel is lost or damaged. We will honour the 60-day return window and send approved refunds so that they reach you within 7 calendar days. We will reply to your messages within 1 business day and explain our decisions in plain language. If we fall short of any of these commitments, tell us, and we will make it right.
\n
If you ever feel that a rule in these Terms is unclear or unfair in your situation, write and tell us. We read every message, and when a rule turns out to be confusing in practice, we rewrite it for everyone rather than leave the next customer to stumble over it.
\n
37. Worked examples
\n
To make these Terms easier to apply, here is how they work in a few situations we see often:
\n
\n
Tournament shirts ordered for a date: you order eight personalized shirts three weeks before a tournament. Each one is printed with the name you entered. One name is printed with a letter missing that was correct in your order; that is our error under section 7, and we reprint it free. Another name has a typo that was in your order; it is handled as a change-of-mind return under our Refund Policy.
\n
A hunting hoodie is too large: you contact us within 60 days of delivery and exchange it under section 11. You pay to send it back, we pay to ship the new size.
\n
A price shown in error: a sweatshirt appears at a price that is clearly wrong. Under section 5 we contact you before printing and you choose to pay the correct price or cancel with a full refund.
\n
A parcel lost on its way to New Zealand: under section 10 the risk is ours until delivery, so after the investigation period we reprint and resend or refund in full, whichever you prefer.
\n
A request to print a well-known team logo: under sections 7 and 14 we decline, explain why and refund the item if you do not want to change the text.
\n
\n
38. Contact us
\n
If you have questions about these Terms or anything else, email support@fieldandreel.com. We reply within 1 business day.
