We make printed shirts, hoodies, long sleeves and gifts for anglers and hunters, and for the friends and families who buy presents for them. Our name says what we care about: the field, meaning open country, duck marshes, pine edges and the walk back to the truck at dusk, and the reel, meaning lakes, rivers, flats and the sound of drag when something big finally takes the bait. This page explains what we sell, how it is made, what we promise and what we do not pretend to be.
\n
\n
Field and Reel at a glance
\n
\n
What we sell: fishing and hunting themed apparel and gifts, printed to order.
\n
Where it is made: printed in the USA after you order.
\n
Where we deliver: free shipping to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
\n
Our promise: 60-day returns for any reason and refunds received within 7 calendar days of approval.
\n
How to reach us: support@fieldandreel.com, with a reply within 1 business day.
\n
Who we are: trading as Fieldandreel, 6910 Scholl Road, Franklin, OH 45005, United States.
\n
\n
\n
1. Why a shop for the field and the reel
\n
Most people who fish also spend time in the woods, and plenty of hunters keep a rod in the truck all year. Outdoor apparel tends to be split into separate worlds, with technical gear on one side and novelty shirts on the other. We wanted something in between: everyday shirts and hoodies with designs that people who actually fish and hunt would wear, not just laugh at once. Shirts you put on for the drive to the launch, wear to the cookout after the tournament and pull out again for opening weekend.
\n
So our range is built around the moments that make up an outdoor year: ice-out on the lake, spring turkey, summer bass on topwater, the first cold front of duck season, deer camp, and the long winter evenings spent re-spooling reels and planning the next trip. Designs feature the species people chase, the places they go and the small jokes every crew shares, like the fish that got bigger with every retelling.
\n
2. What we sell
\n
Our shop is organised into collections that match how people shop for outdoor apparel:
\n
\n
Fishing Shirts: bass, walleye, crappie, trout, catfish, redfish and offshore designs.
\n
Hunting Shirts: whitetail, elk, waterfowl, turkey and upland designs.
\n
Personalized: designs where you add a name, crew name, boat name or date.
\n
Outdoor Tees: everyday graphic tees about lakes, rivers, trucks, dogs and campfires.
\n
Hoodies & Long Sleeves: layers for cold launches and late sits.
\n
Women and Kids: cuts and sizes for the rest of the crew.
\n
Gifts & Drinkware: mugs, tumblers and printed accessories.
\n
\n
Each product page lists the garment styles, colours and sizes available for that design, along with care instructions. We describe our products as casual apparel and gifts. We do not claim sun-protection ratings, waterproofing or safety functions, and our hunting designs are not a replacement for blaze orange where regulations require it.
\n
3. How every item is made
\n
Nothing in our shop is printed until someone orders it. When you place an order, your chosen design is printed onto the garment or item you selected, in your colour and size, by our print partner in the USA. It is then checked, packed and shipped, usually within 2–5 business days of your order. After that, the carrier takes over, and our Shipping & Delivery page explains the transit times to each country.
\n
Printing to order has real advantages. We can offer many designs in many sizes without guessing how many of each to stock, so there are no piles of unsold shirts heading to landfill. It lets us offer personalization, so a crew can have their names on their shirts. And it means we can retire a design or add a new one quickly. The trade-off is time: your order needs a few days before it ships, and once it is printed, it cannot be changed. We are upfront about both.
\n
4. How we check quality
\n
We choose garment styles intended for regular wear and washing, and before a design goes live we review it on the product mock-ups, checking that the print is sharp, that it sits in the right place and that the colours read well on the garment colours we offer. When something goes wrong with an order, such as a smudged print, a crooked placement or a wrong size, we treat the customer’s photos as feedback on our process, not just a claim to settle. Repeated problems with a particular garment or print setting lead us to change it.
\n
We also ask a lot of our designs. Fish should look like the species they are supposed to be. A walleye should not have bass fins, a mallard should look like a mallard, and a whitetail should not wear elk antlers. People who fish and hunt notice those details, and so do we.
\n
5. Where our design ideas come from
\n
Our designs start with the outdoor calendar and the questions people ask while planning a trip: what is biting, when the birds will move, which lake is still frozen. We sketch around a species, a place or a moment, then strip the idea down until it reads from across a boat ramp. Some designs are detailed illustrations meant to be looked at up close; others are bold lettering with a single fish or antler that works from a distance. We keep text short and avoid jokes that only make sense to one region, so a shirt works for an angler in Ohio, a guide in British Columbia or a weekend fisher in Queensland.
\n
Many of our best ideas come from customers. If you have a species we have not drawn, a saying your crew repeats every trip or a style you wish we offered, tell us. We cannot promise to make every suggestion, but we read them all, and requests that come up again and again shape what we design next.
\n
6. Personalization, done carefully
\n
Personalized shirts are one of the reasons people come to us, and they are also where small mistakes cost the most. That is why we print personalization text exactly as it is entered and show it back to you in the cart and in your order confirmation. We give you 12 hours after ordering to correct it, as explained on our Cancel or Change an Order page. If we print something different from what you entered, we fix it free. And because we do not print other organisations’ names and logos without permission, we may get in touch if a requested name looks like a registered team or tournament mark.
\n
7. What we promise
\n
\n
The Field and Reel customer promise
\n
\n
\n
Promise
\n
What it means in practice
\n
Details
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Free shipping
\n
No shipping charge to the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, no minimum order
\n
Shipping & Delivery
\n
\n
\n
60-day returns
\n
Return or exchange any item within 60 days of delivery, for any reason
\n
Returns & Exchanges
\n
\n
\n
Refunds within 7 days
\n
Approved refunds received on your original payment method within 7 calendar days
\n
Refund Policy
\n
\n
\n
Our mistakes fixed free
\n
Damaged, defective, misprinted or wrong items reprinted or refunded at no cost
\n
Returns & Exchanges
\n
\n
\n
Real answers
\n
A reply from a person within 1 business day
\n
Contact Us
\n
\n
\n
\n
8. What we will not do
\n
Trust matters to us, and some things are easier to promise as “nevers”:
\n
\n
We will not show fake reviews, invented customer counts, star ratings we did not earn, or countdown timers that reset themselves.
\n
We will not claim to be a big company with a factory, a founding legend or a team of experts we do not have. We are a small online shop, and we say so.
\n
We will not print other companies’ logos, team marks or agency emblems on our products.
\n
We will not claim our shirts protect you from the sun, the cold or anything else unless a product page clearly says so.
\n
We will not sell your personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with it.
\n
\n
9. Who we make things for
\n
Our customers are people like the angler who launches before sunrise every Saturday from April to October, the hunter who counts the days to opening morning, the parent buying a first fishing shirt for a six-year-old who caught a bluegill last weekend, and the friend who needs a birthday gift for someone who already owns every lure. We also make shirts for groups: tournament teams, fishing clubs, hunting camps and families planning a lake week together. Personalization was added for exactly those groups, so everyone on the boat can have their name on the back.
\n
We ship to four countries where fishing and hunting are a big part of life outside the cities: the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Our designs lean toward North American species, but plenty of them, from flats fishing to waterfowl, travel well.
\n
10. A few examples of how we help
\n
\n
Before a tournament: a team captain emails to ask whether eight personalized shirts can arrive in three weeks. We look at the timeline honestly and suggest ordering that day, in a single order, so all shirts are printed together.
\n
After a wash gone wrong: a customer asks why a tee faded quickly. We explain how hot washes and dryers affect prints, and if the print was at fault, we replace it.
\n
A gift to New Zealand: a customer wants to surprise a cousin in Auckland. We explain transit times and possible import charges so there are no surprises on delivery day.
\n
\n
11. Looking after your shirt
\n
Printed apparel lasts longest when you wash it inside out in cold water, skip the bleach and fabric softener, tumble dry on low or hang it to dry, and never iron directly on the print. Fish slime, sunscreen and insect repellent can stain light colours, so rinse those spots before they set. Following those few habits keeps a print looking good through many seasons on the water and in the field.
\n
One last thing about how we work: if you are ever unsure whether a design, size or delivery date will suit you, ask before you buy. A two-line email saves everyone the trouble of a return, and we would much rather give you a straight answer than make a sale that disappoints.
\n
12. Talk to us
\n
We read every message. If you have a question about a design, a size, an order or an idea for a species we have not drawn yet, write to support@fieldandreel.com or use our Submit a Ticket page. We reply within 1 business day. Quick answers are also waiting in our FAQs and the Help Center, and our Size Guide helps you choose the right fit the first time. Thanks for stopping by, and tight lines and full limits this season.
\n","visible_characters":10209,"meta_description":null,"parent":null,"published_at":"2026-10-04T08:28:24+00:00","updated_at":"2026-10-04T08:28:24+00:00"}}
